TRYOUT PROCESS EXPLAINED
To join an Echo travel team, you must register for and attend a tryout. There is no cost to attend a tryout. The specific dates and a registration link will be posted to this page when available. Tryouts are generally conducted at the following times:
- June: tryouts for the fall and spring seasons occur in early June of each year.
- November: supplemental tryouts are conducted in November to fill open roster spots on teams that were formed the previous June. Players trying out at supplemental tryouts will be joining for the spring season and will tryout again in June.
- Individual appointment: generally, Echo does not conduct individual tryouts, but if you are interested in joining the club and do not have a current club affiliation, please contact us.
When tryout dates are available, select the + near the birth year and gender of your child to determine his or her tryout dates and times.
All June tryouts are held at Michiana Echo Fields @ HTP and November supplemental tryouts will be held indoors at Soccer Zone.
Players should wear shinguards and appropriate footwear (cleats for outdoor and flats or turf shoes for indoor). Current Echo players may not wear Echo gear to tryouts. Please bring a ball, plenty of water, and a great attitude!
Makeup dates will be provided if inclement weather requires a tryout session to be cancelled.
Invitations to join an Echo team are sent within a few days of tryouts.
