Join the
Echo Family!

To join an Echo travel team, you must register for and attend a tryout.  There is a $25 tryout non-refundable tryout fee that is due when you register for tryouts.

The specific dates and a registration link will be posted to this page when available.  Tryouts are generally conducted at the following times:

June:  tryouts for the fall and spring seasons occur in early June of each year.

October/November:  supplemental tryouts are conducted in late October or early November for (1) high school players and (2) to fill open roster spots on teams that were formed the previous June.  Players trying out at supplemental tryouts will be joining for the spring season and will tryout again in June.

Individual appointment:  generally, Echo does not conduct individual tryouts, but if you are interested in joining the club and do not have a current club affiliation, please contact us.

All June tryouts are held at Michiana Echo Fields @ HTP and November supplemental tryouts will be held indoors at Echo Training Center.

Players should wear shinguards and appropriate footwear (cleats for outdoor and turf shoes/flats for indoor).  Current Echo players may not wear Echo gear to tryouts.  Please bring a ball, plenty of water, and a great attitude!

Each age group will participate in a number of activities while being evaluated by a group of neutral evaluators based on certain criteria.  The goal of the tryout process is to group similarly skilled players together on teams, which provides the best environment for player development.

If your child is selected to join an Echo team, you will receive an invitation by email within a few days of tryouts.  The invitation will contain information about registration, uniforms, and general information about Echo.

Makeup dates will be provided if inclement weather requires a tryout session to be cancelled.

There are no tryouts or evaluations for our First Skills Rec+ teams.  All you need to do is register and teams are randomly selected based on certain criteria in an attempt to have as much parity among teams as possible.  To register, visit our First Skills page.
