Echo's Spring 2019 First Skills program will begin the week of April 8th and run through the week of May 13th.  This Spring season will feature a new orientation program for players and parents as well as our most experienced Coerver staff yet!  Scroll down for more details.

What is First Skills?

Echo’s First Skills Program is a co-ed recreational + soccer program for ages 5-8 where kids can start to learn the fundamentals of soccer through professional instruction and actual games, all while having a great time.

*Teach good sportsmanship and respect

*Provide a safe & educational experience


The First Skills curriculum is tailored to beginning players.  Its aim is to build the essential foundations young players need for future play.  Areas of focus include basic ball mastery, simple 1v1 moves, speed (particularly mental reaction speed), shooting and passing technique, and small-sided games.

Spring 2019 Program Information

Dates:  Mondays (training) and Thursdays (games) from April 8 - May 16.

Training Times:  Mondays at 5:45 - 6:45 (6U) and 6:45-7:45 (8U)

Game Times:  Thursdays at 5:45 - 6:45 (6U) and 6:45-7:45 (8U)

Ages: 5-8

Price:  $125

Location:  Echo Fields at Harris Township Park

Description:  First Skills is a Rec+ program tailored to beginning players.  On Mondays, First Skills players will be trained by experienced Coerver coaches.  On Thursdays, they will play games to apply the skills they are learning and their own creativity in a supportive environment.  And you get to keep your Saturdays open for other important things!
