MICHIANA ECHO SOCCER CLUB and Jr. IRISH SOCCER CLUB PLAN TO MERGE.
Granger, Indiana—Impacting nearly 1000 children in Michiana and becoming the area’s largest youth sports club;  Michiana Echo Soccer Club and Jr. Irish Soccer Club are merging. Bringing together two strong organizations will enhance the soccer experience for players of all ages in our community. A joint release with more details about the process and timeline of implementation will be announced on Monday, June 5, 2017
 
Michiana Echo President Jon Carter stated, “By combining forces, the Michiana Echo and Jr. Irish Soccer Clubs can leverage the best of each club to improve the overall soccer experience for each player in our community.”  Jr. Irish President Monika Scott said, “We are excited to work together to provide a better value for the players and their families .” 
Michiana Echo Soccer Club is located at Harris Township Park in Granger. Junior Irish Soccer Club is located in South Bend at Nimtz Parkway.  Michiana Echo Soccer Club was founded in 1993. Jr. Irish Soccer Club was founded in 1977.
 

The clubs welcome feedback from coaches, parentsplayers, and interested community members regarding how to best serve the community through this merge.

Jr. Irish Soccer Club is dedicated to providing Northern Indiana the best training and competitive environment possible.  The club’s mission focuses on the overall development of the player, creating a technical skill set that will allow the player to grow in their tactical knowledge.  A professionally licensed coaching staff gives the players an opportunity to grow in the game as well as learn important life skills such as discipline, commitment, and sportsmanship.

INFORMATION REGARDING THE MICHIANA ECHO SOCCER CLUB AND JR. IRISH SOCCER CLUB MERGER 
 
The combination will bring together two proven soccer clubs with the shared goals of uniting the soccer community and providing enhanced training, development, and playing opportunities for players of ALL skill levels. Our plan is to provide players with the opportunity to play alongside teammates of similar talent, skill and desire. 
 
This two-phase plan to combine resources begins with June 2017 tryouts for HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS ONLY. 

The clubs will combine programs for 15U and up beginning with tryouts to be held in June 2017.

ALL remaining age groups and programs will be combined beginning with tryouts held in JUNE 2018 for the Fall 2018 season.  A FULL club merger will be completed with the Fall 2018 season. Non-high school players are encouraged to register with their current club for the 2017 Fall season. The merger of Echo and Jr. Irish does NOT effect 14U and under players this year
