Several Echo teams recently competed at Socctoberfest 2018 in Zionsville, which concluded on Sunday, October 9.  Echo had 6 group winners, 3 champions, two finalists, and a semifinalist.  Congratulations to the following teams on great showings this weekend:

  • Echo Academy Impact Boys were champions of the U10 division, finishing with a goal differential of 30-4.
  • Echo Academy Pride Girls and Dash Girls were co-champions of the U10 division with Pride winning the championship on a goal differential of 26-2 (versus 22-2 for Dash).
  • The 06 Boys Premier team won its group and was a semifinalist, losing 3-2 in the semifinal to eventual champion Carmel Gold.
  • The 07 Girls Premier II team won its group and advanced to the final where it lost a close game.
  • The 05 Girls Premier team won its group and beat both Carmel 04 Gold and 05 Gold teams on its way to the final, where it lost a tight game in the closing minutes to Indy Strikers 3-2.
