Omar Gallo named USVI National Team Coach

Echo is pleased to announce that its Director of Coaching Omar Gallo has been named an assistant and goalkeeping coach for the US Virgin Islands Women’s National Team.

In a statement, Omar said, “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with some of the best female players in the USVI. Having the opportunity to work along side Jaymee will be a great experience. He’s done a tremendous job at the collegiate level and I’m confident that through his leadership we will be able to take the National Teams to new heights, especially with the other staff members who are now on board.”

In addition to serving as DOC for Echo and assisting to the USVI National Team, Omar is the head coach of the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Holy Cross College.  Omar was named Indiana Soccer’s 2016 DOC of the Year and is pursuing his UEFA B License, which he hopes to complete this summer in Ireland.
